Hendricks Commercial Properties Announces $14.1 Million Retail Expansion at Fritz Farm

Three New Buildings to Add More Than 30,000 Square Feet of Retail Space 


Lexington, Ky. (March 17, 2026) – Hendricks Commercial Properties (HCP) today announced a $14.1 million expansion at Fritz Farm, the 52-acre mixed-use lifestyle center in south Lexington. The project will add three new retail buildings and more than 30,000 square feet of shopping and dining space to one of Lexington’s most popular destinations. 



The expansion supports the Hendricks Commercial Properties’ long-term plan to develop underutilized pads within the center while meeting continued demand from national and lifestyle brands seeking space at Fritz Farm. 


Construction on three new retail buildings totaling 30,387 square feet at the southeast corner of the property along Rowan, Finn and Harrison, is anticipated to begin in March 2026. Delivery of shell spaces to tenants is targeted for December 2026. 



Building details include: 

  • Building 2100 – 12,608 square feet 

  • Building 2200 – 9,115 square feet 

  • Building 2300 – 8,664 square feet
