Hosted annually at the Beloit Club, the event brings together community members, sponsors, and volunteers to raise funds for critical equipment, training, and wellness initiatives that directly benefit local first responders.

To date, Backin’ the Badge contributions have enabled the City of Beloit Police Department to:

  • Develop a new recruitment video

  • Host and sponsor community events

  • Purchase a new trailer and vinyl wrap

  • Procure necessary equipment for officers

The City of Beloit Fire Department has used its funds for comprehensive, preventative full-body cancer screenings for crew members.

This year’s total of $95,000 represents a significant increase from $84,000 in 2024 and $50,000 in 2023.

“This event continues to grow because of the incredible effort and passion from our team and community,” said Rob Gerbitz, President and CEO of Hendricks Commercial Properties. “At the end of the day, it’s about giving back and helping make Beloit a safer place for everyone.”

Hendricks Commercial Properties extends heartfelt thanks to this year’s Backin’ the Badge sponsors, whose generosity made this impact possible. Key sponsors included:
