Iron Core Pilates Opens Boutique Studio in Downtown Beloit

Founder of Studio 12 Pilates opens second location on Grand Avenue 

BELOIT, Wis. (July 7, 2026) – Hendricks Commercial Properties is pleased to welcome Iron Core Pilates to 110 W. Grand Ave., adding a boutique wellness destination to downtown Beloit and further strengthening the district's growing mix of retail, dining, recreation and fitness offerings.

Iron Core Pilates is the second studio owned by Pilates instructor Carol Scholl, who founded Studio 12 Pilates in Roscoe, Illinois, in 2021. Building on the success of that location, Scholl chose downtown Beloit for her newest studio, offering classical Pilates instruction in a welcoming environment with personalized coaching and small class sizes.

Classes, including reformer flow, mat, stretch, are limited to six participants, allowing instructors to provide individualized attention, hands-on guidance, and detailed form correction while helping clients build strength, improve flexibility and posture, and develop a stronger mind-body connection. Private sessions are also available.

Iron Core Pilates is the latest in a series of businesses expanding or relocating to downtown Beloit, joining Wren & Roe, LOOM Home + Gifts, Bodacious Shoppes of Beloit and Poke Green.

Iron Core Pilates will celebrate its soft opening with introductory classes beginning Monday, July 13, through Saturday, July 25. Community members are invited to experience the studio before its full schedule begins. Classes may be booked through Vagaro or by calling or texting 779-475-7188.

Beginning Monday, July 27, regular studio hours will be:

• Monday–Thursday: 7 a.m.–6 p.m.

• Friday: 7 a.m.–12 p.m.

• Saturday: 8 a.m.–11 a.m.

• Sunday: Closed
